Celebrating Sondheim

A ‘one off’ musical evening to celebrate an unrivalled talent

Since 1989, The Gallery Players have been very proud to have staged a multitude of productions penned by the late, great Stephen Sondheim; starting with “Company” at the Spa Pavilion and then going on to stage nearly every major Sondheim musical since. We are now proud to present this evening of music featuring cast members from a plethora of those past productions as well as some new faces performing the songs we all love.
Featuring songs from his hit shows “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, “Into The Woods” and “Company” as well as music from his lesser-known but equally brilliant works such as “Anyone Can Whistle”, “Pacific Overtures” and “Road Show”. Join us as we celebrate the music of the Master as well as reminisce over those fabulous past Gallery Sondheim shows (…and the ones we haven’t quite got to just yet!)
